Hindustan Times - Brightest Young Climate Leaders 2010 seeks to select the top 50 young corporate leaders, professionals/entrepreneurs and youth/student leaders who have shown leadership in the field of climate change mitigation. If you are under 35 years of age and involved in a climate change initiative tell us your story by submitting an application.

In order to apply please choose from the categories below:

Group A - Creators: We invite young corporate leaders and professionals, entrepreneurs and youth leaders to apply by choosing any ONE of the categories below:

• Category 1: Have initiated a climate change mitigation idea or business plan within a corporate or public sector role for a minimum period of 12 months
• Category 2: Early stage start up (existing company, team etc) in the field of climate change with an existing business plan or a business idea at the planning stage without a business plan
• Category 3: Youth leaders/students from Community/Not for profit from climate change mitigation ideas or projects

Group B - Implementers: We invite young people who don't have an idea/business plan but want to participate in the implementation of a business idea that would ultimately mitigate climate change. We expect the applicants to demonstrate the following:

• Category 1: Work experience in companies (companies or start-ups) that work in the field of climate change mitigation for a minimum of 12 months
• Category 2: Demonstrated involvement in community, NGO or any other voluntary project activity with specific achievements
• Category 3: No direct work experience or community involvement in climate change but strong project implementation experience in other fields and clear rationale for getting involved in BYCL

Nominations - If you know someone who qualifies in Group A or Group B please nominate them for BYCL 2010 using the Application Process

Attendees - If you want to attend the summit (not as an applicant) because you are interested to learn about leadership in climate change you may apply as an attendee. You will have access to all the speaker sessions, workshops and networking events.
