Rules & Regulations

    Applicants:
  1. All applicants (Group A, B and C) are required to fill in a detailed application form and send a CV/resume in pdf format.
  2. In order to apply you are required to submit EITHER a 500 word executive summary OR a 3 minute video.
  3. If you decide to submit an executive summary please use Times New Roman font size 12 with single spacing and include your full name and contact details in a Microsoft word document.
  4. If you decide to do a video pitch please use a high resolution camera and make sure lighting and sound are proper for us to view and hear. You may be disqualified if the technical requirements of the video are not met.
  5. If you are a Creator (Group A) applicant please identify your category (1,2 or 3) and your executive summary or video pitch must talk about the specific idea you have implemented or are working on to mitigate climate change.
  6. If you are an Implementer (Group B) applicant please identify your category (1, 2 or 3) and your executive summary or video must talk about your experience in relation to the category you are applying to and how you plan to take it forward.

  7. If you are nominating an applicant (Group A and B) you are required to fill in a detailed application form and send theCV/resume of the nominated candidate in pdf format.
  8. In order to nominate you are required to submit EITHER a 500 word executive summary OR a 3 minute video on the applicant's behalf.
  9. If you decide to submit an executive summary please use Times New Roman font size 12 with single spacing and include your full name and contact details in a Microsoft word document.
  10. If you decide to do a video pitch please use a high resolution camera and make sure lighting and sound are proper for us to view and hear. You may be disqualified if the technical requirements of the video are not met.
  11. The executive summary or video pitch must talk about the applicant and their exemplary work in climate change mitigation and why they should be a recipient of Hindustan Times - BYCL 2010 award.

    For all applications or nominations:
  1. Only Individual entries are going to be accepted. Note: you may highlight your team if you have one (For example a Group A applicant who has a business team).
  2. The final winners list will be announced and invited to participate in Hindustan Times - Brightest Young Climate Leaders 2010.
